Your E-mail

We welcome your comments or questions about our Site. We will share your comments and questions with our customer service representatives and those employees most capable of addressing your questions and concerns.

Please note that your non-encrypted e-mail communications may be accessed and viewed by other Internet users, without your knowledge and permission, while in transit to us. For that reason, to protect your privacy, please do not use e-mail to communicate information to us that you consider confidential. If you wish, you may contact us instead via telephone or via snail mail. There are some locations on Savoy websites where we have made special provisions for a more secure environment in which we can exchange information with you. At each of these locations, we will provide you with appropriate instructions.

What Others May Do With Your Information

Savoy does not share, rent, or sell any personally identifying information provided through our Site (such as your name or email address) to any outside organization for use in its marketing or solicitations. From time to time Savoy may use agents or contractors who will have access to your personal information to perform services for Savoy (such as database maintenance), however, they are required by us to keep the information confidential and may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services for Savoy. In addition, Savoy may also share aggregate information about its members and its web site visitors to advertisers, business partners, and other third parties. For example, we might share that our users are x percent PCs users and y percent Macintosh users. None of this information, however, will contain personal, identifying information about our users.

Third Party Links

Savoy does provide links to other sites. Other Internet sites and services have separate privacy and data collection practices. Once you leave www.mysavoybenefits.com, Savoy cannot control, and has no responsibility for, the privacy policies or data collection activities at another site. This is because Savoy does not own or control those sites or its content. As such, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices used by other website owners or the content or accuracy of those other websites. Links to various non- Savoy websites do not constitute or imply endorsement by Savoy of these websites, any products or services described on these sites, or of any other material contained in them.

Cookies

At times, we will use a feature on your web browser to send your computer a “cookie”. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser when you link to that website. It cannot read data residing on your computer but it can track usage patterns. We do not use cookies to retrieve any personal information from your computer. We only use cookies to learn ways to enhance our Sites, and to give you better, more personalized service while in our web site. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is sent. However, some functions of the Sites will not function if you refuse cookies. These areas of our web site will have information posted about cookies, and when a cookie will be uploaded to your computer.

You should also be aware that when you visit our websites, we collect certain information that does not identify you personally, but provides us with "usage data," such as the number of visitors we receive or what pages are visited most often. This data helps us to analyze and improve the usefulness of the information we provide at these websites.

We may also use what is known as "client-side page tagging", which uses code on each page to write certain information about the page and the visitor to a log when a page is rendered by your web browser. This technique is also commonly used on commercial websites. "Tagging" does result in a JavaScript program running on your computer, but it is limited to providing information about the page that you are requesting and the configuration of your browser. It will not read any of your data files, or execute any additional programs. It does not extract any personal information about you, such as your name or address. You can prevent tagging by disabling JavaScript in your browser, but that may prevent you from using all of our website's functions.

Among the safeguards that Savoy has developed for this site are administrative, physical and technical barriers that together form a protective firewall around the information stored at this site. We periodically subject our site to simulated intrusion tests and have developed comprehensive disaster recovery plans.

Changes to this Policy

Savoy may from time to time revise its privacy policy. You should therefore periodically visit this page, so you are aware of any such revisions. We will not, however, use your existing information in a manner not previously disclosed. You will be advised and have the opportunity to opt out of any new use of your information. This statement is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.

Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans are HMO, PPO, and PDP plans with a Medicare Contract. Enrollment in Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans depends on the plan's contract renewal with Medicare.

Plans are insured or covered by a Medicare Advantage organization with a Medicare contract and/or a Medicare-approved Part D sponsor. Enrollment in the plan depends on the plan’s contract renewal with Medicare. You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium.

Out-of-network/non-contracted providers are under no obligation to treat members, except in emergency situations. For a decision about whether we will cover an out-of-network service, we encourage you or your provider to ask us for a pre-service organization determination before you receive the service. Please call our customer service number or see your Evidence of Coverage for more information, including the cost sharing that applies to out-of-network services.

The formulary, pharmacy network, and/or provider network may change at any time. You will receive notice when necessary.

Medicare Advantage organizations and/or Medicare Part D plan sponsors comply with applicable Federal civil rights laws and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.

A Private Fee-for-Service plan is not Medicare supplement insurance. Providers who do not contract with our plan are not required to see you except in an emergency.

Medicare beneficiaries may also enroll through the CMS Medicare Online Enrollment Center located at www.medicare.gov.

Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-Star rating system. Star Ratings are calculated each year and may change from one year to the next.

You are not required to provide any health related information unless it will be used to determine enrollment eligibility.

Sales agents/producers may be compensated based on your enrollment in a health plan.

Cost Estimates are based on the information shown under My Information, using data about past experiences by beneficiaries with similar attributes and the premiums and benefits provided by the plan. Actual costs may vary. Monthly medical costs are represented by annual figures divided evenly per month.
